Click "Sign Up" on the homepage and fill in your name, email, phone, and password. We'll send you a 6-digit verification code by email — enter it to activate your account.

Check your spam or promotions folder first. Codes can take 1–2 minutes to arrive. If you still don't see it after 5 minutes, try signing in again — that triggers a fresh code (and replaces the previous one).

On the Sign In screen, click "Forgot your password?" and enter your email. If an account exists for that email, we'll send a password reset link valid for 1 hour.

OTP codes are valid for 10 minutes. If yours expired, just go back to the Sign In page and try logging in again — we'll send a new code immediately.

Yes. Go to your account settings → Profile, and update your email. You'll need to verify the new email with an OTP code before the change takes effect.

Email us at support@curiokids.app from the account's registered email and we'll permanently delete it within 7 days. Parents can request deletion of their child's account the same way.

Yes! Our Free plan includes starter projects, limited AI project generation, daily streak tracking, and 1 child account. No credit card required.

Family and Classroom plans include a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. You won't be charged until day 15, and you can cancel anytime before then.

Yes — cancel anytime from your account settings. You'll continue to have full access until the end of your current billing period. We don't auto-renew without notice.

If you're not satisfied within the first 30 days of a paid plan, contact us for a full refund — no questions asked. For longer subscriptions, refunds are prorated based on unused time.

Yes! Schools, non-profits, and educational organizations qualify for reduced pricing. Email schools@curiokids.app for details.

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover). For Classroom plans, we can also accept bank transfers and purchase orders — contact our sales team.

Yes — upgrade or downgrade anytime from your account settings. Upgrades take effect immediately (with prorated charges); downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period.

Our content is best suited for kids ages 6–14, but our AI-generated projects automatically adapt to different ability levels, so younger and older kids find value too.

When a child types or speaks a question (like "How do volcanoes work?"), our AI — powered by Google's Gemini — generates a complete hands-on project: materials list, step-by-step instructions, and a summary of the science principles behind it.

Every project is reviewed by our team for age-appropriateness and safety. AI-generated projects use only common household materials and avoid anything requiring fire, sharp tools, or chemicals without adult supervision.

Yes! Every project includes a printable PDF version with all instructions, images, and learning outcomes. Great for kids who want to work offline or for classroom use.

Streaks track how many days in a row your child engages with CurioKids — completing a project, exploring a topic, or finishing a challenge. They make daily learning fun and habitual.

Teachers create a virtual classroom from their dashboard, which generates a unique invite code. Share the code with students — they enter it when signing up to automatically join your classroom.

The Classroom plan supports up to 30 students per classroom. For larger needs (school-wide or district-wide), contact us for a custom plan.

Yes. From the teacher dashboard, browse any project and assign it to one student, a group, or the whole class. Students see assignments in their "My Assignments" tab.

When students complete an assignment, you'll see it in "Review Submissions" on your dashboard. You can approve, reject with feedback, or leave a comment for them to revise.

Yes — our AI generates full lesson plans on any topic in seconds. Customize by grade level, duration, and learning objectives. Export as PDF for classroom use.

Direct integrations are on our roadmap. For now, you can share project links and lesson plan PDFs into any classroom platform you use.

CurioKids works best on the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. We test on the past two versions of each. Mobile browsers are fully supported too.

CurioKids is a web app that works great on phones and tablets — just open your browser and visit curiokids.app. Native iOS and Android apps are on our roadmap.

Voice search needs microphone permission and a modern browser (Chrome works best). Check that your browser has microphone access enabled in site settings. If you're still having trouble, refresh the page and try again.

Sessions last 30 days by default. If you're being signed out sooner, check that your browser isn't blocking third-party cookies for our domain, and that your system clock is set correctly.

Try a hard reload (Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows, Cmd+Shift+R on Mac) to clear cached files. If problems continue, please contact us with a screenshot.

Yes. We comply with COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act). Children under 13 may only use the service with verifiable parental consent or via a school-supervised classroom.

Only what's needed to provide the service: name, age range, learning activity, and submitted work. We don't sell personal data, and we don't use kids' data for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Kids cannot send direct messages to other users. Within a teacher-managed classroom, students may see classmates' shared submissions, but all communication flows through teacher review.

All AI prompts pass through safety filters before reaching the language model. Generated projects are restricted to age-appropriate, educational topics, and we monitor for problematic outputs.

Parents who create accounts can see their child's activity, completed projects, and streak progress from their parent dashboard. You can pause or revoke a child's access anytime.
